We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Assistant Supervisor to help oversee day-to-day operations of our food venues and bakery. This role supports leadership in team training, inventory, and guest satisfaction—while making sure everything runs smoothly during the season and off-season.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and motivate food service and bakery staff
- Maintain food preparation standards and explain processes
- Provide training on menu items, safety regulations, and service expectations
- Manage inventory and monitor freshness to minimize waste
- Assist with schedules and ensure coverage during peak times
- Oversee product readiness, cleanliness, and equipment prep
- Support bakery off-season planning, quotas, and reporting
- Collaborate with supervisors on team performance and improvements
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years of food service experience, including 1+ year in leadership
- High school diploma required; food safety certifications preferred
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Senior-level food service leadership experience
- Experience with inventory/order systems
- Food safety certifications (SERV Safe)

Food Service Team Lead
Job Type: Part-Time
We’re looking for a motivated and organized Food Service Team Lead to help create a smooth daily operation, a supportive team culture, and an unforgettable guest experience at Center Grove Orchard. You’ll guide, coach, and energize your team, helping ensure every shift runs efficiently and with purpose.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support your team to meet daily goals and maintain a positive atmosphere
- Assign tasks based on team strengths, daily needs, and flow
- Deliver clear, hands-on, and consistent training for all staff
- Start shifts with daily briefings and close with team reflections
- Build trust and motivate team members with encouragement and direction
- Make real-time decisions and delegate tasks efficiently
- Troubleshoot equipment, product, or staffing issues on the fly
- Adapt to changing needs throughout the day with calm flexibility
- Improve workflow and reduce bottlenecks through smart planning
- Manage time, staff breaks, and productivity during every shift
- Set the tone for guest service—lead with warmth and helpfulness

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
- Part-time hours with shifts between 6–10 hours
- Availability during peak hours is required
- May be on-call for emergencies or absences
- Wage: $21.00/hr based on experience
