REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of food industry experience; leadership experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food prep, and service
- Experience with inventory, scheduling, and shift planning
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
- Part-time hours with shifts between 6–10 hours
- Availability during peak hours is required
- May be on-call for emergencies or absences
- Wage: $21.00/hr based on experience
Shop Mechanic/Farm/Hand
Job Type: Part-Time
We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Shop Mechanic/Farm Hand to join our team at Center Grove Orchard. This role is hands-on and diverse—ranging from mechanical repair and welding to operating farm equipment and assisting with fieldwork. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with your hands, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the perfect fit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform thorough service and repair work on a variety of trucks, tractors, and equipment
- Operate farm equipment to aid in planting, hay, harvest, and tillage operations as needed
- Conduct repairs with an emphasis on reliability and safety
- Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Fabricate equipment parts and perform welding as needed
- Assist with additional farm-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Center Grove Orchard’s Driving Evaluation
- At least 2 years of mechanic experience
- Knowledge of basic machine systems and farm operations
- Preferred: shop experience with Ag/Construction equipment
- Preferred: knowledge of modern farm operations and willingness to learn new cropping systems
- Ability to problem-solve within budget and quality constraints

- Part-time position with variable hours based on seasonal needs

Cook for Seasonal Meals
Job Type: Seasonal
Are you a talented cook with a passion for creating delicious, wholesome meals? We're looking for a Seasonal Cook to join our team and prepare meals for our hard-working staff on the weekends in September and October.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and prepare meals for a set number of staff members each weekend day (staff numbers range from 80–300)
- Create delicious menus that all of our staff will love to eat
- Ensure all meals are prepared and served on time
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a cook, preferably in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Proven ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
